We and a large group of friends frequent Cowboy Jacks. Love, love, love the dry rub wings. Excellent happy hour from 3 to 6. 2.00 bottle beer and drinks. Half price apps. Free peanuts too. Service is usually very good. They have a mgr. walking through often also. Just in case you would have an issue. Always recomending this to friends.

i just wanted to commend Cowboy Jacks for their help an honesty... I accidentally left my credit card there (oops!). I was passing through the area, and hundreds of miles away before I realized this. The helpful woman I talked to on the phone agreed to mail it to me at their expense (not much, but the thought & effort counts). I received it back at home, across the country shortly thereafter. This was a heck of a lot easier than canceling the card... Anyway, it's refreshing to deal with helpful & honest people. As for the food - it was fine. Not gourmet, not bad... I'd suggest to stick with the basics & you should do just fine. While there are a zillion restaurants in St. Cloud, nearly all of them are really generic chains. At least Cowboy Jacks had a little atmosphere.

Cowboy Jack's has left a great impression on me the last two times I have been there and mainly because the service was exceptional. Such friendly and helpful waitstaff and quick service. Yes, it is a chain restaurant and there aren't any super stand-out items on their menu, but it is consistently good food and they do have a great selection of items on their menu. Great bar specials so the drink prices are reasonable. Great Bloody Mary bar on Sundays. Some of their dishes (like the chicken pot pie) are delicious but should automatically come with a to-go box because it is too much to eat in one sitting. Complimentary peanuts you can throw on the floor. Casual atmosphere. Perfect downtown location with a nice view of the downtown streets. Nothing particularly fabulous about this place, but always a sure-bet...and sometimes that's all you need.

I usually come here for the happy hour drinks, but heard the food was good so I decided to try the tator tot hot dish which was delicious! But disappointed that the food took almost an hour to come out. Service was alright.

Went in to have lunch and were told to sit anywhere. Grabbed a high top near the window. It wasn't very busy and after about 10 minutes of waiting we got up and left. The hostess was cleaning off tables, but we couldn't even catch her attention to get menus or a beverage...

Sucked!!! Won't go here again!! Fries were kinda warm and limp. Chicken wrap was so cold it must have came out of the fridge after being in there all day. And it actually looked like canned chicken. And my friends burger was so-so. Maybe the cook didn't care, but I won't be back!!

When I was in St. Cloud a couple of weeks ago, I went here on Sunday and Monday with a cousin of mine. We sat at the bar, drank beer, and watched football both evenings. Being from Texas, I thought the interior was well laid out. Noting that I am Texan, I think I can comment pretty effectively. It does have a feel of a Texas club including the group urinals in the men's room. This place does stand out from the typical bar that is in this area. I was amazed at how cheap the food and drink was. The menu is a good menu. The service was solid. There were meat drawings and that was something I have never seen before.

My husband and I really liked Cowboy Jacks, it is a lot of fun eating there. They have a fun decor, friendly wait staff, very visible management (they come to your table to check what you think), great place for people watching and really good food. I think I have ate different things every time I have been there, pizza, pulled pork and a salad. I have no complaints about the food and my husband always gets the same thing (Opened Face Chicken) and that is not normal for him, so it is safe to say they have really good food. The place is always clean and always busy. We have always been able to get in without a wait, but we tend to go for an early dinner otherwise I hear it gets busy and can have quite a bit of a wait. As I said before, the management is visible here, they are always going around talking to the customers, offering to get drinks, if we liked the food and just to see how your night is. I find that refreshing, it isn't often that you see the management at places you eat unless you ask to talk to them. Good job Cowboy Jacks, we will definately be back.

This place seems to be a bit split personality, daytime it is a decent themed restaurant at a good price with good food. At night its a cowboy bar young collage girls drinking crappy beer and doing shots while pretending they are "country" Daytime the food is good I particularly enjoy the pulled pork and brisket or burgers (which are handmade) They also have sweet potato fries which I am a huge fan of. Daytime I have always have had good service never an empty drink and no problems Evening its just not my place I like quality drinks and either a more subdued atmosphere or quality bands or entertainment and they have neither

Food was excellent but I am not sure I like the "just toss the shells on the ground" practice.

This was a cool find and will go back again. Loved the décor, service, and all we had to eat/drink. The menu was not of what I normally see at any other establishment. Everything met what the name states.

Nice little western bar in downtown St. Cloud. I had this mashed potato/turkey gravy dish that reminded me of high school lunch. It was so very good. The atmosphere was welcoming and the service was good. Definitely give it a try.

I ain't exactly the "country" type, but this place pretty crackin on the weekend! Peeps are hella nice even if ur an outsider, nobody trips about you "not fittin in". This place is solid, on the real tho!

I gave the place two stars because it has a nice view of the street and cool giant sliding windows. Other than that- it took 10 minutes for a waitress to appear, another 10 for her to get us our drinks, and this is at 2:30 in the afternoon. It isn't exactly busy. My Bloody Mary is zing-zang and vodka. Yeah, I can make that at home. Because her service is so bad, I have time to write this review while I wait for the check. Onto the food- um, it's bad. Some strange greasy stuff is called 'calamari.' I swear it never saw an ocean. Salad was overdressed and unsatisfying. As my brother said 'this is what we get for not sticking with the White Horse down the street.' Oh and that bro country gets old fast. :) Saaaaint Cloud!

Burger was ordered medium and actually came out medium!!! The bun unfortunately didn't hold up and got soggy. Also for a $10 burger, I would have liked a better side than potato chips without having to pay and additional charge. Great atmosphere and definitely a place worth going to if you want bar & grill fare.

Do not play pull tabs I went there for lunch and decided to play pull tabs. The girl selling pull tabs was in a shift change and joined her friends at the bar. When I tried to buy tabs out of a box the new person selling them said that box has been bought out. By who.... The girl who just ended her shift. Not to mention there was still at least 1/4 of the tabs remaining.
